What to Feed...

The “little” garden birds need energy rich foods to give them the best nourishment (unlike larger birds like pigeons who can survive on cereal grains, e.g. wheat). We offer a whole range of seed mixes from the “wheaty” budget, which is mainly for the larger birds, through a range of higher energy blends to the husk and wheat free ranges which keep both humans and birds happy because of the lack of waste and mess from husks. Our Deluxe (wheat free) and Super Deluxe (wheat and husk free) ranges contain at least 12 different ingredients and it is proven that the more choice you give your birds, the more varieties you will attract to your garden.

(We add oystershell grit to our mixes in the breeding season to help with eggshell production).
